Exploring The Most Graphically Demanding Games On The Market

While most games are focused on reaching as many devices as possible, some like to put your vertical investment to the test; these are games that push the boundaries of smooth gameplay and graphics.

In the end, the best Android games are the ones that set the standard for the future, which is why we’ve put together the best-looking Android games to help you make the most of your flagship.

The Most Demanding 10 Graphics Games

Alien Isolation

The price of Alien Isolation may be higher than the other Android games on the market around $14.00, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad deal. The game follows Ellen Ripley’s daughter, Amanda on a journey through an immaculately restored Sevastopol space station.

At its core, the game is the same as it is on consoles and personal computers. Even though it has been optimized for Android, the game’s visuals are still better than most Android games. So don’t be shocked if Alien Isolation isn’t running well on your device because it’s a demanding game.

To play the game, you’ll need an Android 10-equipped device such as a OnePlus 6T or Samsung Galaxy S10. In addition, you will need a minimum of 11GB of storage space for the installation of the game. However, Alien Isolation is the best horror game to play on Android.

Black Desert Mobile

Black Desert Mobile is a mobile version of a popular MMORPG. The mobile version of Black Desert Mobile is available on Android and iOS. Any good role-playing game has huge worlds filled with characters and side quests, and plenty of dungeons to explore.

Black Desert Mobile does not disappoint in this respect. Because this genre is primarily multiplayer-focused, it tends to put a lot of strain on your hardware with a lot of characters and visuals popping up on the screen.

In short, you’ll need a decent-sized device. Black Desert Mobile isn’t as heavy-duty as an Alien Isolation device, but you’ll still want to make sure you have at least a 3GB RAM device, and you’ll want to have at least a 6.0 version of Android installed on your device.

Dead Cells

Dead Cells has won numerous awards and nominations since its release. It’s a 2D roguelike action-packed roguelike game that draws inspiration from both the Metroid and the Castlevania series. It’s also one of the top indie games of the last few years.

Since Dead Cells is a 2D title, it has more basic graphics, but it does support a smooth 60 FPS mode that works wonders, and if you have a high-frame-rate device, you can even increase the frames per second.

Dead Cells is a free-to-play game with an entry price of $8.99. It is also available as part of Play Pass. With frequent free content releases in the form of enemies, weapons, costumes, and other content, you can be sure that you’re getting the best bang for your buck.

Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact is one of the best-selling mobile games. It combines Ni No Kuni’s eye-catching graphics with Breath of the Wild’s stunning open-world gameplay. But instead of controlling cute animals or dressing up as Link in a green tunic, you’ll be leading anime girls through an expansive world.

GRID Autosport

Historically, racing games have some of the best visuals out there, and GRID Auto screenshots showcase console-level graphics. That may be a bit of a stretch, but the 100+ cars and tracks in the game certainly look amazing. There are a few exceptions to this rule, however.

According to Grid Autosport, as long as you have at least Android 9 installed on your device, you can use Grid Autosport. However, you’ll still need a relatively large 4GB of storage space.

Grid Autosport is in a class of its own with the likes of Real Racing 3, Need for Speed no Limits. The good news is that Grid Autosport is a premium title that costs $9.99, so you won’t have to deal with those pesky microtransactions.

Life is Strange

Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to manipulate time and make things happen? Max Caulfield from Life is Strange can do just that. Using her special abilities, she protects her friends from danger as she investigates the mysterious disappearance of her classmate.

Life is Strange entices you with a captivating story, multiple narrative threads, and multiple endings. Every decision you make has repercussions, both good and bad. The full controller support is included in the Android version and the photo mode takes advantage of the fact that Max is a photography student.

And while it’s not one of the most graphically intensive games on the market, you’ll still need an Android device with at least 6.0 and 2GB RAM.

Real Racing 3

The publisher and developer of Need for Speed, Burnout, and many other popular racing games, Electronic Arts has plenty of racing games under its belt. Real Racing 3 takes things to the next level by featuring more than 200 cars, ranging from high-performance hypercars to formula racing speedsters and NASCAR stock cars.

You should be able to get an idea of the quality of these cars just by looking at the screenshots. In case you doubt it, the product page of Real Racing 3 also states that the game requires a lot of resources.

Shadowgun Legends: Online FPS

With titles such as Dead Trigger 2, and Unkilled, Madfinger Games has a proven track record of delivering high-quality visuals. Shadowgun Legends is the newest title in the company’s line-up and describes itself as a first-person online FPS for the console.

It’s hard to disagree with that statement as Shadowgun Legends looks like it belongs on a console in terms of weapons, enemies, and environments. Replacing zombies with monsters of all shapes and sizes, you have a looter shooter similar to Destiny. Like Shadowgun Legends, you can also participate in online PvE Raids and Arena battles with more than 700 different weapons.

Sky: Children of the Light

If Sky bears a striking resemblance to Journey from 2012, it’s because Journey and Sky share the same game developer. Sky is an MMORPG that emphasizes human interaction. Unlike other MMORPGs, there is no shooting or explosions in Sky. Instead, you interact with and help other players from all over the world.

It’s an immersive experience that invites you to immerse yourself in a world of light, warmth, and compassion. Explore seven distinct worlds, connect with other players, or even accompany them on their adventures.

Streets of Rage 4

It’s rare for a game series to last 30 years and cement its place as a defining genre. Fewer get sequels after decades of non-remembrances. Streets of Rage 4 is a 2020 remake of an iconic 1991 beat-up, and what a beat-up it is.

Streets of Rage 4 brings together everything the original fans loved about the franchise. The iconic characters, led by Axel Stone, Blaze Fielding.

In addition to the original music, a new soundtrack was composed in collaboration with Yuzo Koshiro. An Android version of Streets of Rage 4 was released in March 2022, and the game looks as great as it can on a mobile device. You can’t get much better beat-ups for $5.99.
